Wisteria & Irises in a Suffolk Garden
Bridges’ garden is hidden behind the street in a Suffolk village. It is owned by three actors and is full of drama and surprises. There is an ‘umbrello’ designed and built by Michael Elles, one of the garden’s owners. Informed plantings and imaginative touches in a combination of formal and informal areas make this a garden full of inspiration. The highlights in May are the two wisterias and the tall bearded irises in the fruit and vegetable garden. The Garden is opening with the NGS in for the first time in 2019 in May and September.
